Strigino Airport reviews results of its autumn-winter operations

From 25 October 2020 to 27 March 2021 Strigino International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) operated in accordance with the autumn-winter timetable.
The flight programme from Nizhny Novgorod was represented by scheduled and charter flights of 17 airlines to 24 destinations.
Traditionally, most popular in the autumn-winter period were flights to Moscow, Sochi, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, and Ekaterinburg.
Flights to Samara, Perm, Kazan, Saratov were in high demand, with more than 3,000 passengers travelling to each of those destinations from Nizhny.
New regional flights to Volgograd and Astrakhan were launched.
Since 08 February 2021, Strigino Airport, following the permission of the Russian Government, has reinstalled its services for international flights. The first flight from Yerevan was launched on 13 February, followed by flights to Kyrgyzstan, UAE and Turkey.
All in all, more than a quarter of a million passengers travelled through Strigino Airport in the autumn-winter season, with more than 4,500 flights serviced.
