As early as April 25, Nordwind will start operating flights from Nizhny Novgorod to Kaliningrad. Flights to the westernmost region of Russia will be performed three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Starting on 27 April 2021, direct scheduled flights of Nordwind (jointly with Pegas Fly) to Krasnodar will be available, scheduled thrice a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This day also marks the beginning of a flight programme to Mineralnye Vody: two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
And from April 28 on, the same carrier will open a new route to Murmansk for passengers from Nizhny Novgorod. The flights will be performed twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays until the end of October.
The flights to Krasnodar, Murmansk and Mineralnye Vody will be performed by Nordwind Airlines in a joint venture with Pegas Fly by Embraer 190 seating 110 passengers. Flights to Kaliningrad will be performed by Boeing 737 with a seating capacity of 189 passengers.
Information on the current flight status is displayed on the airport’s online board one day prior to departure. Passenger service at Strigino Airport is available only for those wearing a face mask.
