Strigino international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) is expanding its route network. Starting on 18 October 2019, Iraero Airlines has opened a direct regular flight over the Yekaterinburg – Nizhny Novgorod – Yekaterinburg route.

The flight will be made twice a week Wednesdays and Fridays. Flights will depart from Nizhny Novgorod at 12:10 local time, whereas from Yekaterinburg they will depart at 16:50 local time. Flights will be performed by Sukhoy Superjet 100 planes.
