Strigino Airport switches to summer schedule

Since 28 March 2021, Strigino International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) has switched to a spring-summer timetable.
The flight programme fr om Nizhny Novgorod includes scheduled and charter flights of 16 airlines to more than 30 destinations. These are mainly domestic routes, of which 21 are interregional direct flights to Russian cities, bypassing Moscow.
Popular destinations include Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Perm and Samara. Flights to Astrakhan and Volgograd, which appeared at the beginning of the year, will remain in the summer timetable.
Flights to popular Russian resorts (Anapa, Simferopol, Sochi and Mineralnye Vody) will traditionally remain on the spring-summer schedule. The upcoming season will feature new flights to Gelendzhik.
Flights to Murmansk will be added to the northern destinations of Novy Urengoy and Norilsk. Kaliningrad and Belgorod are west-bound destinations wh ere flights will also be restarted.
Moscow remains the most popular destination for flights from Strigino: the services will be provided by three airlines: Rossiya, Siberia and Nordwind. Up to 11 daily flights are scheduled for Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo.
IrAero and Nordwind (along with Pegas Fly) plan to operate flights to St. Petersburg.
Also on the airport’s schedule are flights to international destinations: Antalya, Bishkek, Dubai, Yerevan, Osh and Istanbul. Although flights to some destinations are already underway, their actual performance will depend on the epidemiological situation and respective government decisions.
The schedule is tentative and is subject to changes throughout the season. The spring-summer season starts on the last Sunday in March and lasts until the last Saturday in October.
