Flights to Kyrgyzstan have kicked off from Strigino International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC). The Nordwind Airlines started flights within the framework of its regular flight program. The first flight to Osh carried 81 passengers on board while the return flight to Nizhny Novgorod brought 178 travellers.
Flights to Osh (Kyrgyzstan) are operated on Saturdays. The flight from Nizhny departs at 23:55 and arrives in Osh at 06:45 on Sunday. The return flight departs at 09:00 Sundays, arriving in Strigino at 10:10. The Airlines will perform flights by Boeing 737 seating 189 passengers.
From 3 March on, travellers will have an opportunity to fly from Strigino to the republic’s capital as well, with one weekly flight scheduled on Wednesdays. The flight from Nizhny Novgorod takes off at 00:35 and arrives in Bishkek at 07:15. Departure from Manas Airport is scheduled for 09:00; arrival in Strigino is due at 10:00. The times are local for each airport.
In accordance with Resolution No. 22 by Chief State Sanitary Inspector, dated 27.07.2020, citizens of the Russian Federation arriving by air shall fill out a questionnaire on board the aircraft and also fill out a special form at the Public Services resource prior to their leaving for Russia (at the time of a ticket purchase or check-in for the flight).
Within three calendar days from the date of their arrival in Russia, citizens must undergo laboratory testing for COVID-19 by PCR method and upload the results onto the Gosuslugi resource.
