Disinfection Tunnels Sep Up at Strigino

Strigino international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) has set up disinfection tunnels. This equipment operates in the pilot mode at the entrance to the passenger terminal and in the clean departure waiting area.
Placed inside cabins are motion sensors: when the latter are activated, the automatic dispersal of disinfectant solution takes place during 2-3 seconds. This is no-contact equipment and the system is turned off automatically as well, after a person walks outside the frame perimeter.
The given procedure helps decimating viruses and bacteria on objects by means of a certified hydrogen peroxide-based antiseptic; it is used as disinfectant that causes no harm to human health, clothes, footwear and baggage covers. Any passenger or airport employee may use this service free of charge, whereas the treatment per se takes seconds, thus precluding any crowding.
The installation of disinfection tunnels is yet another measure targeting the protection of passengers and the prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection’s further spread within Strigino precincts. Daily cleaning with disinfectants, treatment of contacting surfaces, thermometry of passengers, and other activities are also called to prevent the spread of coronavirus at the airport. No-contact remote-sensing dispensers with antiseptics are also set up in the terminal. Markings in passenger sojourn areas help people keep social distancing, and all chairs in the waiting areas are marked with special restrictive signage.
