Strigino international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) has set to operating an automatic enquiry system for passengers using speech recognition technologies. The system recognizes a voice request of the subscriber, asks clarifying questions, and gives answers.
The enquiry system uses the data from the online display board on MVT during the day as well as the data of airport’s seasonal timetable when searching for answers.
Implementing an automatic enquiry service will cut the time of obtaining information needed by the customer, since it will alleviate the load on the call center’s operators. In the future the plan calls for extending the volume of enquiry information automatically provided for the airport’s passengers. The automatic enquiry project has been a joint endeavor with ATS Aero, LLC – a provider of information enquiry services for Strigino airport’s passengers and customers.
